Kentucky Oaks Watch Party

Before the Kentucky Derby captivates the nation on Saturday, the annual Kentucky Oaks will run on the same track Friday. The Oaks is a race specifically for 3-year-old female horses. This year’s field consists of 14 fillies who will compete in the “run for the lilies” Friday.
Most of these horses will be competing at the 1.125 mile distance for the first time at Churchill Downs, with the stakes as high as ever. Nearly half of the field will enter the weekend with touting victories in their most recent races.
